Thrift Store '80s lamps to Chic lamps

Two pink lamps from the "mauve and country blue" era found at the thrift store 1/2 off. I painted them with Krylon Metallic Brushed Nickel but then I decided they needed silver leaf and black glaze. More pics to come of the finished products. I know I am bad at taking "before" pictures. I used a lighter burlap to cover the shade with hotglue. I learned that the darker burlap is more "Pottery Barn" and that burlap doesn't "tea stain" well. I also learned that if I used Looking Glass paint by Krylon the look would have been different. All in all the lamps came out better than they were to begin with and can be used in my rec room.
